Find Ancestors

Please could some kind soul help me, i have had terrible trouble trying to follow my husband's family. I have given up in trying to find his great grandfather Horace Hurst born Sheffield 1891 on the 1901 census. But i have another problem if some body could help.

I have Horace's grandfather Thomas Hurst 1833 Great Longstone, Derbyshire and gt grandmother Elizabeth Hurst nee Robinson also of Great Longstone on the 1841 census. Elizabeth's husband Nicholas Hurst is not present, and i cant seem to find either Thomas, Elizabeth or Nicholas on the 1851 census i have tried a possible re-marriage for Elizabeth but i still cant seem to find anything. Please could somebody spare the time to help me.
I know that Thomas Hurst 1833 Gt Longstone married Martha Little in 1877 and his children were born in Sheffield, and his family moved to Cardiff, Glamorgan S.Wales after his marriage to Martha Little i can find him on every census, just not the 1851,1861,1871, i have him on 1841, 1881, 1891.
I would really like to know where he is and his mother Elizabeth Hurst nee Robinson.

Thank you so much everyone, this has been a brilliant help, going to have to do some digging here again i think Tania and Snapdragon wow two 1871 census returns, i think i will to find out who Martha's father is to prove if Seth G or Robert Little are my Martha's brother. I think it's really mad to have two families with exactly the same information.

Snap Dragon right family in 1901,

Thomas and Martha Hurst Had three children,

Mary Hurst marriage 1 Thomas France marriage 2 Joesph France

Thomas Hurst marriage Jane Carey

Henry Hurst marriage Ellen Athby

All the children listed on the 1901 census are Ellen and Henry's children apart from Louisa Hurst who is Thomas and Jane's daughter, the sister of Horace Hurst 1891 Sheffield that i can find no record of either, June Lewis helped me with this a few weeks ago and neither of us could find him.

Thats why when i got to Elizabeth Hurst nee Robinson and Nicholas Hurst i felt like this family just didnt want to be found lol

I still cant find Thomas 1833 Great Longstone on the 1851 census, and they seem to be driving me potty at the moment hahaha

But i really do want to thank you for your help with this
