Have you tried to find him on the censuses, and have you found him working as a Carman?
I am guessing WW1 record would be most accurate, as no reason to lie at his age?

Where did he die?

Thanks

Hello
Can anyone help me find the right George.
From family info his death is 1948, age 68, the same year as his son.
His marriage is to Annie Gladden 9th May 1904. and his fathers name is George Anderson - job, both work as a Carman.
WW1 record dated 29th Sept 1914 stated him as 34 years and 193 days . (1879).
Census 1911 shows him to be 32 yrs (1879) born in Shoreditch but his marriage shows him to be 24 (1880).
The first birth certificate 1880 B/Green does have a father George and the second cert 1879 (vol 1, page 274) shows his father Henry. I feel that both are wrong and I don't know what to do as I have spent £20. already. I have been told that there was another Anderson family in the same area, none of his children are alive and no one knows where they lived before this date. i.e 1911, can any one give some idea on who or how I may find the right george.
