So do you all think the WW1 records are wrong, they ask for Height, Weight, Chest size, Hair colour so why didn't they just ask for his date of birth and not his age, this would be so simple. |

The marriage cert. shows George Anderson marries Annie Gladden his age is 24 (1880) job - Carman, address Bromley, father - George Anderson Carman. |

Christine, at the time of census they gave their age, not the year they were born. The enumerator then estimated the year of birth. Depending on the date of the census and their actual birthday you can get the variation of a year or so. |
