I am looking for information on Thomas Brooks 1809-1894, alverstoke,hampshire who married mary ann fowles c.1813-1889. their children are:
William 1838; ellen 1840; emma 1844; george 1835;
henry 1845; james 1849; maria 1846; mary ann jnr 1834; thomas jnr 1847; alfred 1859; edward 1855 and frederick 1852.

I am unable to find their marriage certificate or any info on the 1841 census. Have found them on the other censuses but they keep saying their place of birth is where they are living at the moment of the census, which makes them very hard to track. they seem to stay around alverstoke but i dont know where they came from orginially!? We suspect they may be gypsies before they settled.
Any help on the early years will be gratefully received.

Thanks and good luck hunting, everyone.
Dianne
