Hi, i have a Rose Blackman brn 1888 WADHURST daughter of Leonard and Mary Ann Blackman.a copy of dorothys birth certificate states the following, dorothy may humphrey born in farm buildings tatsfield surrey, father thomas humphrey, mother rose humphrey nee blackman.

I cannot locate a marriage and any of them on the Uk 1911 census.Can anyone help please?

I am starting to think, yes Thomas Humphrey might have been Dorothys father but who says that her mum Rose Blackman actually married him.

Its weird none of them can be found on the 1911,

Dorothy may born 25/9/1909 Godstone area of Surrey died 1992.

Dorothy married 1 st Feb 1930 theres a picture of her on Ancestry.

It says on the marriage that her father was Thomas Humphrey Labourer.
