William Henry Stallard ???

Not this one I believe as he is with Father George on census in the reg district of Bedminster..

Births Jun 1870
Stallard William Henry Bedminster 5c 780

***********************************
Money is too tight to mention at the moment,so I am not sending for it as I really dont think its "my "man.

Maybe after all other avenues are exausted and he is still not found under maybe his mothers maiden name which is???

Gunningham to Stallard in 1880 is the nearest I have got to a marriage for William and Annie on 1881
Which of course is after Wee Willie and Emmas birth.

But mayhap William senior was not free to marry until then.

Ok ,thats about it.

Go do your worst, Oops,I mean best Aunty and all..

x x
P.S I think Compton Morton is in Devon, not 100% certain.

Thank you PP.

I have looked at all those before but none seem right to me as the professions are all wrong.

If William was a coachman in 1881 and again on sons MC in 1904 I would have thought that he would be a groom at least on earlier census which is how they step up to become coachmen?
And been a coachman or similar in 1891/1901,not a masons labourer, although of course they did change jobs.

I will have to look at them again I think.

AnnOGG,our Queen of google,I thought you at least would have found me a Compton Morton in the west country.

On the 1881 image it is definatley Compton Morton and also Devon if you look up the page to others?
