Saving the records

After you have clicked to view the image, please select the ‘download record’ option from the top of the image viewer. The file will be saved as JPEG. You will then be able to open the image from your desktop. You can also print it from here.

For 1901 Census images, you will need to move your mouse over the image itself, you will then see a toolbar appear with an icon to save the image. The 1901 images will be saved as .PDF files. Again, you will then be able to open the image from your desktop and print it from there.
