Find Living Relatives

Is there anyway to find out if someone has moved from Scotland to Ireland? I'm looking for Francis Anthony Forsyth, born August 1941 , his adoptive certificate has hes surname as Burns, then his mum changed it to Wylie. He married twice , Jean Fisher Cooper/Rae Morrison on 7th May 1970, divorced 1976/1977, married in Glasgow
Francis also went by the name of Frank.
Any help would be grateful.

Only by tracking him down.

I presume you have tried the UK electoral rolls - you need to find out if there is an equivalent in Ireland - google it.

Just in case you also need to check out the various death indices.

Unfortunately, there are a number of men named Frank or Francis Wylie on the Electoral Rolls, but none where the middle name Anthony is shown.

There are 4 Frank or Francis Wylies listed in Scotland, when including birth year 1941:
Glasgow 2002-2020 (listed with an Elizabeth 2002-2009); Glasgow 2002-2007 (listed with daughter Amy 2014-15, and with wife Jacqueline 2002-20); Glasgow 2002-2003; and Falkirk 2002.
No middle name given for any of them.

There are 2 Francis Wylies in Northern Ireland on the ERs here on GR - but with wrong middle name.

Several more in England/Wales.

Electoral Registration records in Eire seem to be held by individual local authorities.

As he may well still be living, please remove his full DOB from your post. You can leave the year.

There is only one record of marriage for the man on SP, and no record of a divorce on SP

So Jean cook fisher Morrison also went by the name of Jean cook fisher Rae

As It’s all the same record nos on Scotlands people so one marriage only

Have you checked to see if they had any children

Edit doesn’t help cos mmn isn’t listed

Divorces are only listed on SP from 1984 onwards, so xtootsy16x must have personal/family knowledge of the divorce .
