Happy New Year to all. Xxx

Ne'erday steak pie dinner was lovely, visitors gone home, dishes all done and put away.
I'm putting my feet up now with a big glass of brandy then off to bed.

My firstborn and her boyfriend became engaged in 2015 and her wedding is now just 78 days away.... Woo Hoo !

What's 2016 got in store for you ?

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all the Scottish people on this thread.
I'M not a Scot as I was born in England, but both parents and everyone else in my family are Scottish back for the last four hundred years, so it's probably ok to come on here and wish you all the best for the coming year.

Yes LadyScozz,

1963 was the Year but as I say you can take the boy out of Scotland but you can't take Scotland out of the boy.

LadyScozz

LadyScozz Report 19 Dec 2015 23:55

Robert....... you moved to England about the same time I moved to Oz. lol

1963?

I'm a wee bit further away from Edinburgh than 120 miles.

Robert

Robert Report 19 Dec 2015 19:36

No, Barbra, I no longer live in Scotland having moved to England 52 years ago.

I now live at the Coast 10 miles from Newcastle but I still have family in Edinburgh and friends in various parts of Scotland. Only 65 miles from the Scottish Border and 120 miles from Edinburgh it doesn't take long to go back.
