Searching for any descendants of the children of Matthew and Sarah, Darley Dale, Derbyshire, UK.
Their children were - Sarah bap. 1707; Joshua bap 1709; John bap 1711; Mary bap 1715; Henry bap 1719, all baptised in Darley Dale. Rumour is that Matthew emigrated to North America. I would like to turn the rumour into fact.

It's a pity you clicked "Answered", Glennys.

I know you did it because you sent a reply to Cynthia's personal message to you.
However, it should only be clicked to indicate that your query has been answered in full, to your satisfaction.

It's a bad feature of GR, and may people fall foul of it. Also, it can't be undone again.

If you would like us to keep looking for the Ash family, you should edit the title of your thread, to add "Not answered" or similar.

Not that there seems to be anything to find re Matthew possibly going to USA, I fear.
