I am searching for death of Phillis Maud Agombar nee Plummer in my first message I mistakenly put Gill as her maiden name. She was born in Bethnal Green on4/1/1874. She was the second wife of George W. Agombar. They were married in Bethnal Green on 8/5/1893. I found her in 1911 census and she seemed to disappear. I have a note in my tree saying she died from TB, but I do not know where that came from. I have been unable to find death or remarriage. She doesn't appear on any of the migration list I have found.

Phyllis /Phillis is very elusive .not picking her up on the 1939 register or a death

There is a Phyllis Maud Agombar marrying in 1943 to a Donald E Annal but not finding a death for that one either

Edit Donald E Annal was born in 1917 so can't think he married the phyllis that is being looked for

This is his death

Re the link that Chris put up- according to a tree on Ancestry Lily married a Young and then later married a surname Neil.

This would be them- I don't have access, but it doesn't look like Phillis was with them:

Young Household Bethnal Green, London, England
Lily May Neil (Young) 1906
Thomas Young is also on this record

Well there isn't a birth for a Phyllis maud Agombar so wonder if the 1943 marriage is her

There is a Phyllis M Agombar born in 1920 Croydon mm Brown

AustinQ Report 21 Apr 2016 09:39

A tree on Ancestry has her death (no sources) as:

25 May 1920 • Woodbine Villa, Maybank Road, South Woodford

I can't see a death that fits this- it may be worth contacting the tree owner for more information.

It may well be correct as George is listed on his own at 7/8 Squirries Street in 1920- as a married woman over 30, Phillis would have been listed if she was living there.

Thank you to all who answered my request. I gave phillis Maud's maiden name as Gill instead of Plummer. She was born 4/10/1874 at Bethnal Green. She was the second wife of George W. Agombar. They were married at Bethnall Green on 8/5/1893. The last I can find of her is the 1911 census. I do have a note on my tree saying she died from TB, but I do not know where that info came from.
Thank you all again,

Janet .............

welcome to the Boards

For future reference, may I recommend that you NEVER use the tick facility on GR?

On this site, it means that ALL your questions have been answered, and no further help is needed.

I don't think they have, have they?

Unfortunately, it is a quirk of GR that a tick can never be "unticked".

If you still require help ....... you should change the title to add something like "help still needed"

To do this, click on EDIT on your opening post ........ it's to the right of your name

A new screen will open, and you can edit either the title or the post .............. just put your mouse cursor next to the last letter of the title and add the extra words

then click Submit.

several Public Family Trees have Phyllis' death as .......

25 May 1920

or added information on address .............

Death

but I don't see any documentation to support that information
