Member Since: December 2004 Posts: 67 Send Message	Hello I am trying to find any record of Nellie Shires b1903c Rotherham Yorkshire. I found a marriage record for 1936 Rotherham to William Bacon. I DO HAVE ALL THE BACON FAMILY HISTORY. I searched the census records under Nellie Shire..Ellen...Helen...but found nothing at all. Would love to find her parents thank you so much Jenny X

Births Jun 1911 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shires Nellie Rotherham 9c 728 I think you need a copy of her marriage cert to confirm age and fathers name if known. There are also several other births of the same name in Yorkshire Andy

	How do you know she was born in Rotherham? Marriage cert. should also give you her father's occupation which will help find, or confirm a 1911 census record so the cert. is essential here. Are you sure the 1936 marriage is correct? It would mean that Nellie was 33 yrs old when she married, so could also be that she was married before and therefore Shires was not her maiden name?

	Nellie Bacon 22/4/1911 died Rotherham April 2004 Nellie Shires April 1911 Rotherham 9c 728. Maryb.
	Researching: Farrar, Jessop, Ward, Booth, Wragg, Walsh.

	There are several other births in Rotherham after that of Nellie in 1911 all giving mother's maiden name as Mollitt:- Births Dec 1913 (>99%) Shires Benjamin Mollitt Rotherham 9c 1436 Births Jun 1916 (>99%) Shires Herbert Mollitt Rotherham 9c 1621 Births Dec 1918 (>99%) Shires Annie Mollitt Rotherham 9c 1316 Births Sep 1920 (>99%) Shires Ruth E Mollitt Rotherham 9c 1610 Births Mar 1923 (>99%) Shires William H Mollitt Rotherham 9c 1414 Births Sep 1924 (>99%) Shires Harold Mollitt Rotherham 9c 1372 Births Sep 1925 (>99%) Shires Ernest Mollitt Rotherham 9c 1386 .............so all possible siblings. Maybe worth keeping on file until you have the marriage cert. you can then eliminate them or go on to find a marriage for parents?
