RE the middle name RICHARDSON on the marriage record for Margaret - this might be a possible answer.

I can't find a baptism as yet for Sarah Dixon Harkness.

However in the potential census 1841 I posted for her, possible parents are Thomas and Margaret, and there is a 6 month old child Janet Harkness also present.
