Frank's post, gone AWOL
Hello
From information provided by family a long time ago I have managed to find an 1891 census which includes my great grandfather Peter Kelly. I have not been able to find anything else before or after. I managed to strike lucky as I was told family lived in Arkwright Street in Liverpool.
Is there any chance that you migtt see if you can see any family perhaps in 1881 and 1901 as I cant see them anywhere.
Here is hopefully the 1891 census if it appears for you 1891 England Census Peter Kelly Age: 50 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1841 Relation: Head Spouse's Name: Margaret Kelly Gender: Male Where born: Liverpool Civil Parish: Everton Ecclesiastical parish: St Peter Town: Liverpool County/Island: Lancashire Country: England Registration District: West Derby Sub-registration District: North Everton ED, institution, or vessel: 2 Piece: 2951 Folio: 28 Page Number: 1 Household Members: Name Age Peter Kelly 50 Margaret Kelly 45 Mary Ann Kelly 11 John Kelly 9 Sarah A Kelly 7 Catherine Kelly 5 Elizabeth Kelly 4
Any some replies: For anyone searching, Peter's occupation in 1891 was Plasterer
The only Peter Kelly in Liverpool in 1901 of the right age is a potato merchant
How about this?
1901 census Person: KELLY, Elizabeth Address: 15, Tessera Place, Liverpool KELLY, Martha Head Widow F 56 1845 Charwoman Lpool, Lancashire VIEW KELLY, John Son Single M 21 1880 Plasterer*********************NOTE Lpool, Lancashire VIEW KELLY, Catherine Daughter Single F 15 1886 Black Lead Packer Lpool, Lancashire VIEW KELLY, Elizabeth Daughter Single F 14 1887 Black Lead Packer Lpool, Lancashire
I was told that family had lived in Arkwright Street which is something that I always remembered and of course that is the address on the 1891 census.
The 1901 looks really good with another wife perhaps?
Which child of his is your direct ancestor?
No.......probably just a different version of her name, I'd say. But I'd have thought you'd know the name of the mother of your grandparent.........
Peter was dead by 1901
You haven't answered our questions about which child was your grandparent
