Sorry, Joseph born about 1875. One of the army records on FMP says 1863, but that's wrong. |

There are several Richards on the new Masters and Mates register on Ancestry, but cannot tie any of them up. |

Thanks to everyone who as contributed. A lot of new info. All of the family worked in Workhouses and associated hospitals and schools for the next 50 odd years. The last Kolter only died in 2000 and was a headteacher, so kept the family connections with education going. |
