I'm looking for information relating to the army career for my great grand uncle, Henry Charles Welsh born 1896 St Pancras to William and Mary. I have found his medal card which states he enlisted 11/12/1915 and discharged 29/05/1918. Apparently he was injured and lost a leg in the war and used to cycle around with just the one leg! He was also known as Harry as listed in the 1901 census, but I haven't found him yet in the 1911 census. |
