I have looked at the IGI but i have failed to find the following person - ;

Mary Franklin bn or bp in 1777 Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire. I need this to find her parents. Married 8/9/1798 and have these details.

This morning i e-mailed Gloucester Archives re my 4x great grandparents....

Isaac Niblett - Mary Franklin married 8/9/1798

I found an entry for Isaac Niblett and Mary Franklin, both of Minchinhampton, married by banns on 8th September 1798. Both the bride and the groom made their marks in the register. There were two witnesses, John Franklin and Samuel Keene who signed the register. Unfortunately, as is normal as this date, no further details such as status or age or occupations of the couple, or the names and occupations of the fathers are included. It is most likely that the witness, John Franklin, is perhaps the father, uncle, brother or cousin of Mary but there can be no guarantee of this.
